Sono arrivata alla fotografia per caso
come succede con le cose davvero importanti: capisci che ti chiamavano da tempo.
Sono cresciuta tra i musical anni ‘50 che mio padre adorava e il cinema d’autore europeo che mia madre mi ha insegnato ad amare. Le immagini sono sempre state il mio modo di leggere il mondo: prima con i disegni, poi con le parole, poi con la luce.
Dopo diversi workshop, il perfezionamento in Fashion Portrait all’ICP di New York mi ha dato una direzione chiara. Oggi il mio lavoro è diviso tra progetti di ricerca artistica, ritratti su commissione e collaborazioni con il mondo della moda e del design sartoriale.
Margaret Iris Photography nasce per offrire alle donne uno spazio di verità, ascolto e bellezza.
Un’esperienza fotografica fatta di silenzi, pause, luce naturale e gesti autentici.
